COURSE DESCRIPTION

These video-based lessons will help you get started on your guitar learning quest. If you need help with the learning content, post a question on the community page or request a videoconference with an instructor or community member.

• Holding, Tuning, Warm-Up Exercise.
• Ability to use your Mobile Device as a guitar learning tool.
• Awareness of how to seek Videoconferencing Assistance.

Having an idea of the kind of music you like and want to play is very helpful. The guitar that you choose should fit the kind of music that you want to play and practicing along with backing tracks that you like will help you to develop your playing skills. When you know the names of the parts of the guitar, you will be able to understand the vocabulary used by instructors and community members.

It is not practical to try and hold your instrument and your mobile device at the same time. The Learning to Play the Guitar Using Your Mobile Device lesson demonstrates how you will tune, and learn to practice using your Smartphone, Phablet or Tablet.
