#Intermediate Here is a cool 12:14 Riff Video – The challenge for the brave beginner that really wants to identify the style of Rock that they want to play.
1. Have a pen and paper or better a table ready and number it 1-100
2. Listen to each riff and give it a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 rating
3. Select 15 of your top rated licks, and post the # Ex. 17, 45,…
4. Focus your learning on those 15 licks
5. Investigate the chords & scales that work with them
(It’s also a good idea to record the start time of your favorites)
