A Professional Learning Network (PLN) has been designed as tool for understanding the GitShed instructional philosophy, Course Management System (CMS) and the Social Media used to support the community. Facebook Page. Those that successfully complete this “Instructor Learning Module” will be able to setup an “Instructor Profile”.
GitShed instructors use mobile devices and their communication technologies to:
- Connect to the CMS and Social Media Sites
- Answer Student Questions
- Coach and Encourage Student Learning
- Teach Guitar Related Concepts
- Evaluate and Level Students for Game Based Rankings
To become an “Authorized Instructor”, you must complete the following:
- Review the “Instructional Philosophy” and the “PLN Prezie“ pages.
- Complete the CMS “Users Guide” Module.
- Review the “8 Basic Guitar Lessons” and post three that you would like to specialize in.
- On the “Facebook GitShed Page“ Post a listing of your three “Lesson Specialties” in the comments section. (Example: I will use MD apps to show students good practice techniques.)
After posting your lesson specialties on the community Facebook page, continue to the next module Face-2-Face Interaction.
